Simply Notice

A recent walk along the streets of New Haven proved to be one of fascinating findings. My camera found many interesting details on the Yale Campus. I captured many small intricacies that might not normally be noticed on an everyday basis. I find it entertaining to just look and notice. Notice the textures, the angles, the light, the shapes, the architecture. By just walking, and carefully taking the time to actually see the world, a person can discover all kinds of beauty. Beauty that the rush of the daily and the weekly events almost force us to ignore. This is a small example of the world I found walking, talking, and snapping away on a misty quiet afternoon.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It's really refreshing to just take a minute out of your everyday life to look at things in a different way and find the hidden beauty. I love the doors and gate- so mysterious!

I always wanted to do a photo project based completely on doors, so those pictures really stood out to me! Great work! I absolutely love that I keep seeing you snap photos wherever you are! Such passion you have! :)

Striking stills on the misty streets

Words silently streak
Through the eyes of an artist so sweet
