Under the Sea

Surprised to be viewing images of sea life on this particular blog? Yes, I must admit these photographs are very uncharacteristic of me. Nature, animals, bright colors....just not your typical Mandi shot. However, this new camera has inspired me! Plus, I just happened to take a trip to Mystic Aquarium this past weekend, and took over 80 digital photographs of the amazing life found under the sea. The fine detail of the coral, and the gorgeous colors that God has painted onto each unique fish and little frog. It's unfathomable how God has taken into account the beauty of every tiny poisonous spotted tree frog, coloring them in bright yellows and blues. And then each deadly piranha, giving them each an amazing sparkle and shine. Who would ever think that a dangerous piranha could be so beautiful? Until you see upclose and personal all of the intricate details, one doesn't realize how many various kinds of life there is out there. I am amazed more and more each day just how big God is and how very small we really are.

fishy fishy in the sea...

ok i just had to say that. :) The colors ARE very bright and very unlike you. But at least you know now that you could get a job with national geographic if the more arty world leaves you starving. :) hehe. love you!

I thought the same thing when we went to Australia and the birds were every color imaginable. Light blue, wine colored, bright green, orange and yellow. God must have had fun painting them!!

Did you see any seahorses? They're my favorites!

I am often asked how God and science could ever co-exist.
Interesting question.
I never had a problem with learning about all the magnificiently organized details in the world of physics. Apparently, you can love God and science after becoming born again. Who would have ever thought!

.... or without being born again.
