80s Lady

Halloween. The perfect opportunity to dress up. But for a photographer, it's yet another opportunity to take dramatic and artistic pictures. This Halloween I dressed myself in clothes and items that I felt resembled the 1980s. I borrowed several pieces of jewelry from my work and also a few accessories from my boss, which came straight from the 80s. She wore the belt and the funky red heels you see in the images below. Don't those heels look like they hurt? Well, yeah they did. I had them off by the end of the evening. When I got home from the party, I realized that it might be a while before I look like this again, so I better take the opportunity to set up my lights and tripod and get serious. She's not so innocent anymore, hmm?! The best thing about this awesome camera is the instant results. I can shoot away and not worry about spending loads of money on film. So I snapped away and took some more model-like shots. Wild outfit, heavy makeup. It's just so fun playing dress-up! Must be a girl thing.
